The recently damaged radio station of Wana has been repaired and transmission has been restored in the South Waziristan Agency, informed an official of Political Administration.

The transmission of Radio Wana was disrupted when some unknown terrorists destroyed most of the radio station with explosive material a few days ago.

Programmes of three hours are now broadcast in local language in morning from 6 to 9 am and three hours in the evening from 6 to 9 pm, the official added.
